Joe A. Long

Mr. Joe A. Long of Ashford passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the age of 86.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Long was born October 19, 1938 in Arkansas, the son of the late Lee A. and Athalie Long.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Lee A. Long, Jr. and sister Tilda Stanhope.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Long, son Joey Long (Diane), daughters Suzanne Long, Dianne Long, grandchildren Dakota Andries (Ashley), Ashley Shipes (Hunter), Shannon Goldstrich (Andrew),  Brice Long, sisters Shirley Reever (Vern), Terry Mann (Mike), brother Henry Long and four great-grandchildren.
