Ben started his career in law enforcement at the Geneva County Sheriffs department in 1991, where he served the Geneva County area until 2008 as a deputy. His career continued in Hartford, Alabama as police chief until 2015 when he retired. He took great pride in his 24 years of service and he valued his son’s decision to follow in his footsteps.
