John Sims Obituary

Mr. John Marlon Sims of Pansey passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the age of 78.

Mr. Sims will lie in state from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family request no flowers.

Mr. Sims is preceded in death by his parents Johnny Sims and Quida Mae Hicks, two sisters, Earline Ward, Mabel Ingram, and one brother, Lonnie Sims.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Givens Sims, children, Tammy Whitehurst, Terri Lynn Baxley (Eric), Jeffrey M. Sims, John Britt Sims (Amber), grandchildren, Tyler Sims (Lauren), Olivia Baxley, Cody Sims, Reed Whitehurst, Nathan Baxley, Dylan Sims, Haley Sims (John Mallory), Madison Whitehurst, two great-grandchildren, John Levi Sims, and Regan Mallory, sister, Edna Ingram, brother, Mitchell Sims (Donna), sister-in-law, Laura Sims, and brother-in-law, Terry Ingram.
