Karen Rita Moran Boesken

Karen Rita (Moran) Boesken, age 74 of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020.

She was born to the late William Moran and Anna Rita (Henk) Moran on November 20, 1945.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Moran.

Karen was married to James Boesken Sr. in 1964 and they have celebrated 55 wonderful years together.

She is survived by her daughter, Agnes Pugel and her husband, Mike, and their son, James Boesken Jr. and fiancé, Natalie Donohue. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Zachary & Kim Boesken, James (III) & Adrienne Boesken, Arianna & Shaun Niles, Danielle & Nick Cox, and Mikayla Pugel. Karen also has four beautiful great-grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, James (IV), and Owen.

Karen loved her family and friends. She was always there for anyone and everyone. If you needed a place to stay, you went to Karen. She was a devoted wife and loved to camp and travel with her husband, Jim. She was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. If there was a party to host, Karen hosted it. She made friends wherever she went. Once you were a friend of Karen’s, you were a friend forever.

Following Karen’s wishes, no services will be held. We encourage you to remember and celebrate Karen’s life in the way you seem fit. Perhaps toast her with a glass of win during “wine time” (about 4:00 p.m.).
