Kathryn Vickers Anderson

Mrs. Kathryn Vickers Anderson of Dothan passed away Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 88

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Wednesday, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Kathryn was born to Earnest T. Cole and Ruby Merle Mills Cole on June 16, 1932. Mrs. Kathryn had three children from her marriage to Dorman Vickers of Ashford, Al, Kathy Anne Vickers, Stan Vickers, and Vicky Lisa, who passed away on March 7, 1961. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters: Willie Pearl Jordon, Manuel Cole, Hennon L. Cole, James T. Cole, and Robert E. Cole, and her husband, Willis (Andy) Anderson.

Survivors include: daughter, Kathy Anne McLaney of Dothan, Al.; son Stan Vickers (Linda) of Ozark, Al.; sister, Sara N. Patterson, brothers, Charles E. Cole (Peggy) of Dothan, Al.; Earnest Ryals Cole (Ann) of Dothan, Al.; grandchildren, Bryan Scott Whiddon, Chris Stanley Vickers, and great-grandchildren, Chaney A. Adams, Tyler Scott Whiddon, and Logan Brooks Whiddon.
