Obituary
Mrs. Lena “Fanchion” Bynum of Dothan passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at the age of 92.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, February 27, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Flay Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Dothan City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday, February 27, 2023, one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Bynum was born November 7, 1930 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Oscar Odell Amerson and Inez Hatfield Amerson.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Wilburn “Bo” Bynum, two sisters Margaret Allen, Jeanie Brooke and two great-grandchildren Madden and Maddox Scott.
She is survived by daughters Daphne Jones, Malisa Singletary (Joe), grandchildren Steven Jones, Allison Jones, Nic Singletary, Jessica Scott, Suzanne Phillips and seven great-grandchildren.
