Lillie Cooley Obituary

Mrs. Lillie Pearl Cooley of Dothan passed away February 23, 2018. She was 98.

Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, February 26, 2018 at Memphis Baptist Church Cemetery with Memphis Baptist Church officiating.

Lillie was born on October 25, 1919 to Mr. Ira Thaxton and Mrs. Claudia Thaxton. She was employed for many years at Warners as the Manufacturing Supervisor and at Sony as a Quality Control inspector. Mrs. Cooley was also a member at the Memphis Baptist Church in Dothan.

Mrs. Cooley is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Blonnie Cooley, son, Wallace Cooley.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Wilkins (Sara, deceased); daughter-in-law, Luke Cooley; grandsons, Ron Wilkins (Denise) and Sgt. Wallace George Cooley (Melissa); granddaughters, Luke Carney; and Deborah Hadland (Gary); 7 great grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.
