Louise (Adams) Baker

Mrs. Louise Baker, age 86, of Dothan, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Born July 9, 1935 in Cottonwood, Alabama to the late James W. Adams and Zenie Robinson Adams. She enjoyed cooking, working outdoors, and fishing.

In addition to her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her brothers, Randall Adams and Hoppy Adams.

Survivors include her husband, George Talmadge Baker; her children, Imogene Maier, Edward Jackson, and Judy Hall (Kevin); her grandchildren, Kristina Lyman (Robert), Hubert Maier II (Melissa), Jennifer Metcalf (Brian), and Cameron Jackson; her great-grandchildren, Sydney Lyman, Ragan Lyman, Derrick Maier, Lisa Maier, and Caleb Metcalf; her sisters, Freddie Carpenter (Junior) and Ann Thorn (Foy); nieces and nephews, Penny Adams, Wendi MillsVegos, Pam Padgett, Randy Adams, and Clay Thorn; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, prior to the service at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
