Martha Chumney Obituary

Mrs. Martha Sue Chumney, another angel went home on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the age of 77.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, April 12, 2019 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Phillip Harrelson officiating.

Burial will follow in Madrid City Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Chumney was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a community mother who took care of everyone. She loved to fish and do word puzzles. She loved her church but her family was her main priority.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Survivors include her husband George Wallace Chumney, daughter Robbie Ann Mullen, sons John Wallace Chumney, Kenneth Wayne Chumney, James Allen Chumney, sister Mabel Robinson, brother Rudolph Lee, 16 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
