Martha Jane Dove

Miss Martha Jane Dove, age 66, of Chipley, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Born October 31, 1956 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Billy J. Dove and Doris J. Baldridge Dove, Jane lived most of her life in Dothan before moving to Chipley.

In addition to her parents, Jane is preceded in death by her grandmother, Myrtle Baldridge; her twin sister, Mary Elaine Dove; her sister, Beverly Jean Dove; her aunt, Ernestine Schonefeld; and her uncle, Donald Baldridge.

Jane is survived by her sister, Janice Dove; her aunts, JoAnn Goldsmith and Peggy Kastner; several cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at St. Joseph AME Church in Chipley, Florida. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023 prior to the service at St. Joseph AME Church in Chipley.
