Martha Sue (Hodges) Ott

Martha Sue (Hodges) Ott, age 74, of Dothan, passed away Thursday July 30, 2020. 

Martha was born October 23, 1945 in Dothan to the late Beatrice and Curtis Hodges.  In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her brother Raymond Hodges.  She is survived by her husband Danny Ott, her brother Carlos Hodges (Judy) and her 3 children, Melony Krstulja (her daughter Mia and husband Matt), Jeff Ott (his son Tanner and daughter MaKayla), Ashlee Ott (her son Zachary and daughter Jazzlyn).  She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 416 Bethlehem Rd, Midland City, AL 36350, directed by Reverend Taylor Hodges.  In lieu of flowers please send a donation in Martha’s name to the American Breast Cancer Society.

Martha was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister, that had a kind heart and was always trying to take care of everyone else.  She was a lifetime Dothan resident and a retiree from Regions Bank.  She loved the outdoors where she spent most of her time gardening and producing beautiful  flowers and vegetables, loving on her pets and fishing.

Martha’s love and kindness has touched the hearts of so many people. We will all miss her dearly.
