Mary Jo (Adams) Gilley

Mrs. Mary Jo Gilley, a resident of Gainesville, FL and formerly of Dothan, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was 79.

Born December 23, 1938 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late James R. and Alberta Hardy Adams, Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Randell Gilley and her sister, Catherine Cobb.

Mary is survived by her son, Eddie Gilley and his wife, Lica of Gainesville, FL; her brother, Wayne Adams; her grandchildren, Kevin Gilley and his wife, Kailey and Jaclyn Gilley; her great-grandchildren, Caleb Gilley and Matthew Gilley; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM (CST), Monday, March 19, 2018 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Grady Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Goodwater Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wicksburg. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM, prior to the service.
