Mary Lou Makin Snow Moyer, 78, a resident of Newton, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1942 to the late Henry Makin and Evelyn Vincent Makin.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place 5PM, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Newton Volunteer Fire Department.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and making needle point blankets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Makin.

Survivors include her children, Edward (Kathy) Snow, David (Cindy) Snow, Marcia Snow, Etta Snow, and Patti Ellison-Schmidt, brother, Gary Makin, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many loving family members and friends.

 The family would like to thank Dr. Zaarour, Dr. Leah McKnight-Haas, and the doctors and staff at Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care of Mary.

Memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s honor to Kindred Hospice or Newton Volunteer Fire Department.
