Michael Evans Obituary
Michael Ray Evans passed away on March 12, 2026 at the age of 70. Born on July 5, 1955, in Dothan, Alabama, the son of Raymond and Melba Spivey Evans.
Mike is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tana Evans; his two remarkable sons, Justin Evans (Stephanie) and Austin Evans (Hannah). He was a proud grandfather of John Michael, Arden Ann, Eliza and Oliver Evans.
Mike is also survived by his brother, Ricky Evans along with his nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Joyner.
Mike retired from Dothan Utilities after 20 plus years as a Lineman then went on to teach a Pre-apprentice Electrical Lineman program for several years at Wallace Community College before his final retirement.
Graveside services for Mike will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Reverend Jim Tate officiating.
