Myra Elizabeth (High) Edmonson

Myra E. Edmonson, 85, a residence of Dothan, passed away at Southeast Health on Thursday, July 2, 2020. She was born on July 13, 1938 in Florida to the late James Paul High and Ozee Appleton (Hubbard) High

Graveside services will take place at 11 AM, Monday, July 6, 2020 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.

Some people only walk this earth for what we feel is a short time. Their departure reminds us that angels are watching over us. Myra Edmonson rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings.

She was a devout Christian, she did more than talk about Jesus, she loved like Him. Myra was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely.  

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, CB Edmonson, , her sister Rebecca Flaherty, her brothers  James High, and  Cecil High

She is survived by her children, Eunice Edmonson, Wendell Edmonson, Kay Thames, Steaven Edmonson (Laura), Kenneth Arnold (Rose); Grandchildren, Melinda Glover (Jason), Leann Smith (Matthew), Kimberly Raybon (Corey), Bradley Edmonson, Michelle Arnold, Rodney Arnold (Nikki); 7 great grandchildren and 1 great -great grandchild and several nieces and nephews and loving family members
