Myra Nell Enfinger Floyd, loving mother, mimi, sister , aunt, and friend passed away on April 3, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 70. Born on November 9, 1954, in Alabama, Myra's life was a testament of the love, strength, and endurance that she showed to everyone she loved.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, J.T. Enfinger and Nancy Tolar Odom, her loving husband, James Kenneth Floyd, and her dear sister, Dorothy Holland. Her spirit, however, will continue to shine brightly through her family who remain to honor her legacy.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Valerie Sawyers, and her husband, Tim, who will forever cherish the memories and resilience Myra instilled in them. Her grandchildren, Amaris Somma and her husband Vinny, Bay-Leigh Brady and her husband Mason, and Chasilyn Brady and her husband Madison, will miss her guidance and unconditional support. Myra's great-grandchildren, Ayvinn, Brynn, and Murphie, will grow up with stories of her kindness and the gentle touch of her love.
Myra's sister, Gloria Jean Wallace (Billy - loving brother-in-law), will hold dear the memories and the unbreakable bond they formed throughout their lives. She is also survived by her beloved nephew, Jamie Snell (Cait), along with several other nieces and nephews.
Her fur babies, Chloe and Prissy, were a source of immense joy for Myra.
Myra loved her diet Coke and memtos – she was never without them. She had lifelong dear friends that she loved dearly. She was a giving. loving mama, mimi, aunt, sister, and friend. She retired from the Southeast Alabama Career Center as a Career Facilitator. She was deeply loved and will be missed dearly.
