Nona Richards Obituary

Mrs. Nona Cumby Richards, age 78, of Ashford passed away Monday, April 13, 2020.

Nona was born October 26, 1941 in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Willie Cumby and Fern Terry Cumby. She and her husband Red operated a bait and tackle store for many years.

In addition to her parents, Nona was preceded in death by her husband, Red Richards; her daughter, Terri Tharpe; her son, Clay Richards; her sister, Sandra Cline; and her brother, Ray Cumby, Sr.

She is survived by her son, Bill Richards (Tammy); her daughter, Angie Turvin; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
