Norma Reams Obituary

Norma Dean Reams, passed away on September 8, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 90. Born on November 18, 1934, in Paducah, Kentucky, to the late Roy Amis and Cynthia Ann Clark Amis, Norma's early years in Kentucky were filled with the warmth of family, including her late brother Tommy Amis, sister Carolyn Ann Amis, and son, Rusty Reams.

She carried the essence of her upbringing throughout her life, weaving it into the lives of those she cherished. Norma's legacy continues through her devoted son, Keith Reams, her adoring grandchildren, Jessica Foreman (Daniel Hardy), Brandy Price (Alan), Tiffany Smelley, and Jamie Reams, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Foreman, Brantley Russell Bone, Rayleigh Price, and John Russell Smelley. Her heart also held a special place for her partner of 18 years, Larry Boucher, and her brother, Donnie Amis, who both stood by her side with unwavering support and love.

A woman of impeccable taste, Norma's passion for fashion and interior design was evident to all who knew her. Her sense of style was timeless, and she had an extraordinary ability to create beauty in every space she touched. Norma's love for gospel music filled her home with joyous melodies, and her faith was as much a part of her as her radiant smile.

Traveling was one of Norma's greatest pleasures, especially during the years her late husband was deployed. She often reminisced about the time spent in Germany, which held a special place in her heart. The experiences she gathered from her travels were cherished stories that she shared with her family, inspiring them to explore the world with the same curiosity and enthusiasm.

The beach was also Norma's sanctuary, a place where she found solace and it was here that she reflected on the beauty of life and the bonds that held her close to those she loved.
