Patricia Sims Phillips

Patricia “Patsy” Sims Phillips of Dothan passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 72.  

Patsy was born December 21, 1949 to the late T.J. “Bill” Sims and Lois Morris Sims of Enterprise, AL.  Patsy was a 1968 graduate of Enterprise High School and in June of that same year married the love of her life Jan Sterling Phillips.  Together they raised two children and celebrated almost 43 years of marriage.  Patsy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved all of her family and friends dearly.  She enjoyed reading books, going to the lake, fishing, sailing and playing cards with friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Jan Sterling Phillips; father T.J. “Bill” Sims; mother, Lois Morris Sims and sister Betty L. Wyatt. 

Survivors include her son Todd Phillips, Pensacola, FL; daughter Kim Butterfield (Mark), Dothan, AL; grandchildren Phillip, Lauren and Sam Butterfield, Dothan, AL; nieces Barbara and Pam Layton. 

Graveside Service will be held at 10A.M. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Memory Hill Cemetery.
