Peggie Woodham Obituary

Peggie Ann Woodham, a resident of Cottonwood, died Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Hartford Healthcare in Hartford, Alabama. She was 79.

Graveside services for Ms. Woodham will be held at 1 PM Friday, September 19, 2025 at Hodgesville Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Ms. Woodham was born on August 8, 1946 in Dothan, Alabama to the late William and Lula Mae Sanders Woodham. She lived in Florida for a while before moving back to the Houston County area where she lived the remainder of her life. Ms. Woodham was an accountant and worked for several automobile dealerships in the area. She was a member of the United States Army Women’s Corp and will be remembered as a hard worker and very family focused.

Ms. Woodham is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Arthur Woodham.

Survivors include her daughter, Charity Dulaney; grandchildren, Kayla Roposh (Jeffrey), Devon Dulaney (Katina), Ciera Simmons (Brittany); and eight great grandchildren.
