Ramona Gail Ray

Ramona “Gail” Ray, 72, of Dothan went to be with the Lord after an extended illness on Friday, May 5, 2023.

Born on May 12, 1950, she lived in Cottonwood until the passing of her husband. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Mary Beth Blair.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life of 50 years, Donald A. Ray, as well as her parents, B.G. and Margie Dykes, and her son-in-law, Donnie Nichols.

Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Nichols and Dedra Blair and her husband, Trent Blair, a granddaughter, Mary Beth Blair, her companion K9, Carlie, special cousins Bonnie Whitehead and Keli Allen, brothers, Ghani (Gloria) Dykes, Cliff (Gladys) Rhodes, and Ray (Bonnie) Rhodes, several nieces and nephews, and a host of special friends.

According to her wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
