Randel (Randy) Holland Obituary

Randel Earle Holland, known affectionately as Randy by his friends and family, passed away on March 29, 2024, in Tuskegee, Alabama. Born on June 2, 1971, in Alabama, Randy's warm smile and generous spirit were a blessing to all who knew him throughout his 52 years of life.

Randy was a devoted father to his son, Mickey Allen Holland, and cherished the moments spent with his beloved grandchildren, Riley and Hazel Holland. He was a loving brother to his sister, Emily Hovey (Kyle), step-children Brandon, Ansley and Amber Bergan and their mother Melanie Bergan, and a fun-loving uncle to his nephews, Chase and Brandon Hovey.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mickey and Hazel Holland and brother Joel Holland.


Professionally, Randy dedicated 12 years of his life as a Professional Truck Driver for PTI Transport. His commitment to his work was evident as he achieved the status of a multi-million-mile driver, a testament to his hard work and dedication.


Those who knew Randy would describe him as loving, kind, and generous. Randy's kindness touched the lives of many, and his legacy of love and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Randy's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact one person can have on the world around them. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Randy's memory will be cherished and celebrated as an example of a life well-lived, full of love and selfless giving.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Enterprise Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6 to 8 P.M.
