Rebecca Simmons Obituary
Mrs. Rebecca C. Simmons of Dothan passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the age of 70.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Caleb Newsom officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2022, one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Simmons was born February 4, 1952 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Paul Freeman Carr, Sr. and Mary Emma Solomon Carr. She is also preceded in death by three siblings.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Simmons, daughter, Lynn Brown (Greg), son, Jeff Trippe (Donna), granddaughters, Ashleigh Thomas, Julianne Newsom (Caleb), Brianna Trippe, one great-grandson, Brayden Hughes, brother, Steve Carr and sister, Mary Lidell.
Following the service, the family will gather at the home of Jeff Trippe, 948 JW Rich Road, Kinsey, Alabama 36303.
