Rhonda Clark Obituary

Rhonda Gayle Clark, passed away April 11, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama. Born on January 29, 1956, in Chattahoochee, Florida, Rhonda's life was a testament to the power of love, generosity, and selflessness.

Rhonda's early years in Chattahoochee were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family. She was the cherished daughter of the late Hilton Cook and Pheobia Cook, and the sister to Kenny and Keith Cook, who preceded her in death.

Throughout her life, Rhonda's capacity to care for others only grew stronger. She was a devoted mother to her son, Chase Clark (Amber), and a doting grandmother to Haiston Whitehead. Her love extended to her sister, Linda Fisher, sister-in-law, Teresa Cook, and her nephews, Scott Anners (Dana), Brad Trujillo, and Briceson Cook (Olivia). Rhonda's great-nieces and nephews, Maddie, Andrew, and Will Anners, also held a special place in her heart. Her family was her world, and she was their steadfast rock.

Rhonda's interests were a reflection of her giving nature. A caregiver in the truest sense, she found joy in shopping for loved ones and took immense pleasure in cooking for them. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she whipped up countless meals, infusing each dish with love. Family gatherings around the dinner table were sacred to Rhonda, as these were the moments when she could envelop her loved ones in the warmth of her care.

Her generosity of spirit was not confined to her home. Rhonda was a beacon of love and support to her patients and all those fortunate enough to cross her path. Her kindness was boundless, her smile infectious, and her heart, the largest of any. Rhonda's unwavering support and strength were most evident in her care for her father, her son, and her entire family. She was their guardian angel in life, and her legacy of love will continue to guide them.

Rhonda's departure has left an indelible mark on her family and friends. The void created by her absence is profound, and her loss is felt deeply by all who knew her. Yet, Rhonda's memory will live on in the countless lives she touched with her unconditional love and the selfless acts that defined her existence.

To say Rhonda was loving, generous, and selfless does not fully capture the essence of who she was. She was a force of nature, a source of unwavering support, and the embodiment of maternal love. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of kindness, compassion, and an unrelenting dedication to her family.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to nurses Erica Helms, Kylie Toscano, Hannah Outlaw, Cassidy Austin, and Krisie Arnold. Their compassion and love will never be forgotten. They would also like to thank April Culver from Wiregrass Homecare and the staff at Rehab First.

Funeral services for Rhonda will be held at 11 AM, Friday, April 19, 2024 from the chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM, Friday, April 19, 2024 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at 3 PM at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Altha, Florida.
