Ronald McDaniel

Ronald David McDaniel, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in Panama City, FL., he was born on November 27, 1938 in Lake City, SC., to David McDaniel and Olive McDaniel (Ammons).

Visitation: Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 3PM to 5 PM at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 in Panama City, FL.

Ronald was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He graduated from Kingstree High School and The Citadel and was 1st in his class in electrical engineering. He obtained his master’s degree from the University of Virginia. Ronald served in the United States Air Force and was President of Twitchell Corporation for several years.

Preceded in death by his parents, son: Guerry McDaniel in 2004, and his loving wife Jean (Guerry) McDaniel in 2013, sister in law: Nancy Jane McDaniel and his retriever “Katie”.

Survivors: Son: Tradd McDaniel (Laura), grandchildren: Rachel McDaniel, Tradd McDaniel, Jr., and Amos McDaniel, brothers:  Johnny McDaniel (Sarah), Jay McDaniel, nephews, nieces, and loving family members.

In Lieu of flowers: Family request memorial donations in Ronald’s name be made to : Nemours Children’s Hospital.
