Ronnie Hugh Waller

Ronnie Hugh Waller passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, surrounded by friends and family. He was 70 years old.

The family will receive visitors Friday, September 15, 2023, at 5 p.m. at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with a  Celebration of Life to follow. Those who wish to visit with the family may do so at the home of Don and Becky Waller.

Flowers will be accepted at the service.

Ronnie Waller was born to the late Roy and Louise Waller on May 13, 1953, in Dothan, AL. After graduating from Dothan High School, he pursued his musical passion, playing in several bands. He worked his entire career at Michelin, where he retired after 30+ years. His passions were music, tennis, Alabama football and most importantly, his family and friends. He also enjoyed meeting his buddies for a drink at 5:00. Ronnie was a devoted father, caring brother, loyal friend, and adored granddaddy.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Louise Patterson Waller, and his sister, Angie Stinson.

He leaves behind 2 daughters, Kristen Welborn (Mitch) and Jennifer Ingram; 3 siblings, Gwen Pearce (Bill), Don Waller (Becky) and Charlie Waller; and 5 grandchildren, Peyton Ingram, Olivia Buckner, Mary Louise Welborn, Ella Welborn and Amelia Welborn. He also had many beloved nieces and nephews. His family will cherish many memories of him.
