Ruth Goddard Obituary

Ruth Ann Goddard of Dothan passed away on February 25 2019 at the tender age of 73 after a long battle with cancer and other illnesses. She was born in Chicago to Harry and Lois (Turner) Wilson Jr. on June 28, 1945 and is survived by her loving husband of fifty years James, their son Michael (Melissa), and brother Harry (Maria) Wilson III. The Wiregrass area has been her home for the last 30 years. She loved to go to the beach, tend to her lawn, flowers and plants. An avid reader of mystery novels, it was seldom she didn't have a couple of books stacked and ready to be read. A room was brighter when she was in it and she easily made friends. She will be missed by all those who knew her, as she always had a smile on her face. We would like to thank the staff at SE Cancer Center, ICU and 3 East for their professionalism and courtesy during her time there.
Inurnment will be held at a time to be determined.
