Sarah Lewis Clark of Cottonwood passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at the age of 82.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Chaplain Kathy Stumbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 P.M. Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Sarah was born July 15, 1943, in Ashford, Al. to the late Ruby and Grover Moss. She was later raised by her aunt, Mary Davis, after the passing of her parents. Sarah loved food and her family. She enjoyed traveling and sewing.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her aunt, Mary Davis, siblings, Charles, Melissa, Merlene, Ilene, Annie “Janie”, and Johnny Moss, R.B. Lewis (father of her children), and her husband, William “Buddy” Clark.
She is survived by her four children, Jerry Lewis (Becky) of Webb, Peggy Nichols (Sam) of Campbellton, Janet Cunningham (Shelby) of Headland, Sonia Davis of Cottonwood, nine grandchildren, Wyatt Lewis (Sarah), Jeremy Lewis, Christopher Cunningham (Brandi), Kassie Cunningham (Brody), Keshia Croft, Angela Harrison (Wesley), Sebrina Johnson, Joseph Cunningham (Allyson), Shaun Davis, twenty great-grandchildren, Kambria, Taylor, Kyree, Katalina, Colton, Kaven, Kade, Cristian, Oliver, Saylor, Zander, Amelia, Sawyer, Banks, Ava, Benjamin, Shelby Makenna, Maya, Weston, and Ridge, nieces and nephews, Robert Jones (Michelle), Pat Jones (June), Madison Grantham (Riley), Misty Burke, along with several cousins.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, Nurse Donna, Chaplain Kathy, and Larry and Carolyn McKenzie.
