Sarah Jones Obituary
Mrs. Sarah Frances York Jones of Dothan passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. She was 88.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Byron Register officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, February 12, 2018, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Jones retired from Flowers Hospital after working for 28 years as a nurse.
She is preceded in death by her parents Obadiah York and Burma Jewel Brannon York, her husband of forty eight and a half years, Charlie L. Jones, and a son Charlie Michael Jones.
Survivors include daughters Judy Lietzan (Jim), Dawanna Moates (Andy), Wanda Jo McKinnon (Eddie), 3 sisters, grandchildren Dawayne Lietzan (Angie), Tammie Pozega (Jim), Chanci Kaczmarczyk, Krisalyn Hammond, Jeffrey and Gerald McKinnon, and great-grandchildren Heather and Samantha Lietzan, Cady and Dash Pozega, and Tristen and Ana Kaczmarczyk.
