Mr. Scott Baxter of Dothan passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at the age of 52.
A Celebration of Life service for Scott will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service.
Scott was a strong-willed person who stood by his beliefs. He truly loved his son and grandchildren, and enjoyed his life in the way he wanted to. He was a member of the millwrite local 1263.
Scott is preceded in death by his father Jimmy Clyde Baxter.
He is survived by his mother Ann Baxter of Dothan, son Scotty Michael Baxter (Kristy) of Anderson, SC; sister Rita Ann Parrish of Dothan, brothers Bill Baxter of Dothan, Jim Baxter of Tampa, FL.' grandchildren Ireland Baxter, Zoe Baxter, Soren Baxter, nephew Hunter Parrish, great-niece Blakley Parrish, great-nephew Lawson Parrish, cousins Michael Brown, Laura Hughes, and close friends Michael Schutts and Michael Cruchfield (Holly).
