Sherry Ann Baker

Sherry Ann Baker, age 76, died peacefully in her sleep on September 11, 2022, after an extended illness. She was born on December 15, 1945, in Missouri to the late Hershel Price Bake and Virginia (Mills) Baker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2PM, Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home, inurnment will follow services at Memory Hill Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one half-brother Andy Baker.

Sherry is survived by 3 half-brothers Jimmy, Mike and Skip Baker, cousins George Rice (Mary), of Kennesaw, Georgia and Walter Rice of Dothan as well as her very good friend of many years Linda Ward of Cottonwood, Alabama. 

Sherry spent many years of her adult life working as a waitress. She was a lover of dogs through the years and is survived by her 17-year-old "Spice". She was a generous, independent free spirited individual. 

 A special thanks to the Southern Care Hospice Team and the staff on Sanders 2 at Wesley Place for their very excellent and loving care given to Sherry during her final illness.
