Shirley Jeffcoat Obituary
Shirley Vann Jeffcoat passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 25, 1939, to Dewey and Valletta Vann, Shirley lived a long life rich in family, friendship and experience.
She was the beloved wife of Charles Jeffcoat Sr., who preceded her in death.
Shirley is survived by her four children: Valerie Owen (the late David), Cathy Jeffcoat, Vannise Gillilan (Donny), and Charles Jeffcoat Jr. (Uschi); her grandchildren Lauren Dye (Denny), Chase Owen, Amber Chentnik (Matt), Taylor Gresham (Joel), Karlie Jeffcoat (Justin), Austin Cooper (Venessa), Jake Gillilan (Lindsay), Kendall Gillilan, Charles Jeffcoat III, and Philip Jeffcoat; as well as a many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived many special nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her strength, and the kindness she shared with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 3 at 2pm at Ward Wilson Memory Hill Cemetery.
