Sondra Ellen Free

Mrs. Sondra Ellen Free of Dothan, Alabama went to see the Lord at home surrounded by her family February 3, 2020 at the age of 66.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Rehobeth Baptist Church with the Reverend Chad Hixson officiating. Burial will follow in Ward Wilson Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan.

The family will receive friends at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Friday, February 7, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm.

She is preceded in death by he parents, Juanita & Bruce Walkup and Brad Philpot, one sister, Pamela Philpot.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Terry Free, sons Gregory (Kellie) Free & Brandon (Rebecca) Free, grandchildren Rachel (Delon) Johnson, Jordan Free, Ashlyn Kelly, Dakota Free, Bailey & Olivia Ethridge, great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Aria, Oakley & Willow Johnson, sisters, Donetta (Johnny) Stinson, Mary Sue Bettencourt, brothers, Mark Philpot, Timothy Philpot, Mother-in-law, Mickey Williams, and several nieces and nephews.

Sondra was a child of God. She was a member of Rehobeth Baptist Church through baptism. She shared her Godly love with everyone she crossed paths with. To be loved by Sondra was to know true unconditional love. She loved her family and raising her two boys were her greatest pleasure in life. She was blessed with many grandchildren & great-grandchildren whom she adored and shared her love for God with. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
