Stevan “Mike” Dilworth, age 55, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Mike was born April 10, 1971 to the late Stevan Ferry and Lynn Wood Holsinger. Mike served his country in the United States Army where he served as a medic. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, boating, woodworking, camping, and making people laugh. He was passionate about his country, the flag, and the military. Mike held many positions in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and DAV. He also served as a liaison between veterans and the VA.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his first wife, Ginger; his son, Andrew; his brother, Timothy Holsinger; his nephew, Brandon Heinselman; and his niece, Jewel Holsinger.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Thurston-Dilworth; his Dad, Keith (Deena) Holsinger; his siblings, Becky Spalding, Stephen (SheAnna) Dilworth, Charles (Ginny) Holsinger; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 10 AM, Friday, May 22, 2026 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Chaplain Timothy Bedsole officiating. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until service time. Inurnment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery at 1:30 CST.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Ward Wilson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
