Sybil Ann (Howell) Waters

Mrs. Sybil Ann Waters, age 74, of Dothan, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022.

Born June 11, 1948 in Dothan to the late Sterling Howell, Sr. and Beatrice Franklin Howell, Sybil was a graduate of Cottonwood High School. She attended Wiregrass Church and enjoyed gardening and decorating.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tillman Waters; her brothers, Donald Ray Howell, J. B. Howell, Jerry Howell, and Sterling Howell, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Stewart (Brad); her son, Mark Merritt (Heather); her grandchildren, Casey Merritt, Preston Merritt, Christian Merritt, Gabrielle Stewart, Grayson Stewart, Gracie Stewart, Ben Trant, and Katie Trant; her brothers, Bobby Howell, A Z Howell (Dean), and Danny Howell (Jackie); her sister, Evelyn Long (Cecil); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
