Terry Lamar Parker

Terry Lamar Parker, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, in his hometown of Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 39. Born on April 8, 1985, in Dothan, Terry's warm smile and friendly nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life Service for Terry will be held at 6 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.

Terry was a people person through and through, making friends effortlessly wherever he went.  He was a loving son to his mother, Barbara Parker, and though preceded in death by his father, J.L. Parker, and both sets of grandparents, his family remained the cornerstone of his life.

Along with his mother, Terry is survived by his sisters Virginia Lavery (James), Donna Farmer,  brother Jeffery Parker, niece Hailey Farmer, nephews Christian Farmer, Shane Thompson (Summer), Thomas Shell, and great-nieces Jada and Serena.

Terry's interests were as lively as his personality. He was an enthusiast of demolition derbies, motorcycles, and go-karts, embracing the thrill and excitement they brought.

Those who knew Terry would describe him as loving and friendly, two qualities that defined his character. He had a heart that knew no bounds and a kindness that was felt by many. His ability to connect with people on a genuine level was one of his greatest gifts.

Terry's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the countless friendships he cultivated throughout his life. His absence will be deeply felt by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

As we say goodbye to Terry Lamar Parker, we celebrate the life he lived and the impact he made on those around him. Terry's life may have been cut short, but the memories he created will endure forever in the hearts of his loved ones.
