Thomas G Whitehead

Mr. Thomas G. Whitehead, age 92, of Dothan, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Born February 26, 1930 in Dale County to the late Thomas G. Whitehead, Sr. and Johnnie Mae Preston Whitehead, Thomas served his country in the United States Navy. He served from 1951 until 1954 and served on the USS Midway. He enjoyed racecars and motorcycles and going to races.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn Henderson Whitehead; his daughters, Sonya Reeder (Tony) and Micki Mathews (Joey); his grandchildren, Bradley Reeder (Brittany), Kyle Reeder, Brent Mathews (Kristy), and Brandon Mathews; and his great-grandchildren, Anabella, Isaiah, Kylie, Camille, Caleb, and Eli.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Memory Hill Cemetery with Bradley Reeder officiating.
