Wanda Jo (Walker) Mathis

Wanda Jo Mathis, 60, a resident of Dothan, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 18, 2023. She was born in Dothan on November 19, 1962 to the late Joseph Walker and Wilma (Williams) Walker.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place 11 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Sheffield officiating. There will be no public visitation.

Wanda enjoyed redneck wrestling and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special friend, Randy Ivey.

Survivors include her children, Michael Eldridge, and Misty Eldridge (Mike Allen), brother, Chris (Patricia) Walker, grandchildren, Tyshawn Allen, Martrez Allen, Kayla, Joshua, Sarah, and Zoey, great-grandchild, Kailani, a host of best friends, Anita McNeil, Felicia Garrett, Lawana Phillips, Ben Brackin, and Mallissa Brackin.
