Warren Ray Elliott, 75, of Hickory Flat passed away at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama, on October 29, 2025, after an extended illness.
He was born on June 25, 1950 to Rev. O. Lex Elliott and Elizabeth Roebke Elliott.
He was a graduate of Myrtle High School, attended Northeast Community College in Booneville and served in the National Guard.
Warren worked for AT&T in Memphis and retired there in fiber optics. One of his most rewarding endeavors were the years associated with the Boy Scouts. He was on the Wood Badge staff as Scout Master and NJLIC Scout Master. After returning to Union County, he worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts, Gardaworld and was with the Myrtle Fire Department.
Warren is survived by his wife, Debra Fitzpatrick Elliott, two sons, Gregory Elliott of Hickory Flat and Chris Elliott (Peige) of Collierville, TN; one sister, Mary Helen Waggoner (Spencer) of Columbus, MS. His grandsons are Michael Elliott, Landon Elliott and Luke Elliott. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by his step-children, Brandy Kimbrough (Gene) of Houston, MS; Eric Martin of Pontotoc, MS; Kelly McRaney (Bobby) of Wheeler, MS. Step-grandchildren are Brooklyn Thomas (Charlie) and children Rivers, Dovey and Woods; Presley Byars; Colton Byars (Diamond) and children Holden and Callie.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents and youngest son Tony Elliott.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Myrtle First Church in Myrtle, MS, where Warren was a member. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., with service to follow at 12 noon.
