Webster Clark Reyner, Sr. passed away February 2, 2025 in Dothan, AL. He was 91.
Born in Wayne, PA, he was the son of Louring Wayne Reyner and Catherine Morton Reyner. He was the youngest of 4 children. Webb was an accomplished athlete and educator. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from West Chester University in 1957 and his Master’s Degree in 1961 from Penn State. He was headmaster for several private schools, including St. Paul’s Episcopal School (Mobile) and Houston Academy (Dothan).
He is predeceased by his parents, his son Richard R. Reyner, his wife Jodi (Eaves Atkins Reyner), his brothers Wiliam A. Reyner (Pat Strain Reyner), Louring Wayne Reyner, Jr. and his sister Marguarete Peggy Reyner. He is survived by his daughter Robin Walker-Gibbons (Ralph Conway), sons Webb Reyner Jr. and Wayne Reyner (Vanessa); stepdaughter Charlotte Atkins {Sherri Burruss}; grandchildren Laine Walker (Tyler Eickholt), Kelie Reyner, Webb Reyner III (Tori), Virginia Reyner, Mac Reyner, and Luke Reyner.
A memorial service is being planned for later this spring in the chapel at Wesley Place, 718 Honeysuckle Road, Dothan, AL 36305.
