Denise Pippen

Mrs. Denise Pippen of Dothan passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was 63. Memorial services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Mrs. Pippen taught 12th Grade English at Dothan High School for 10 years then she received her law degree and worked as the assistant DA for Doug Valeska for 10 years. She also worked with her husband John doing independent living assessments for Disabled Veterans. She is preceded in death by her father Jake Elton Dorriety. Survivors include her husband John Pippen, mother Elaine Dorriety, daughter April Knowles ( Richard), son Harris Kennedy (Jill), brother Dennis Dorriety (Wanda), sisters Mary Lynn Brackin(Brad), Lori Ann McGriff ( Don), Melinda Araj, and grandchildren Hunter Knowles, and Hadley and Hayes Kennedy.
