My father was taught to fly helicopters by Mr. Popplewell at Fort Wolters in Mineral Wells, Texas. I had always been told of the great admiration my father had for Mr. Popplewell. I'm sorry for your family's loss.

Today, August 27, 2018, I came upon Reagan's picture during some research on the computer and searching further I came upon the sad news of his passing. I had the pleasure of serving with him on my second tour in Vietnam in '68 - '69. I never knew about his prior military service because he was not one to talk about himself. I was awed by his accomplishments and remember him as one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Rest in Peace, Reagan, you touched the lives of countless people in a positive way.

I am so sorry to hear of Reagan's passing. I had the privilege of working with him at the U.S. Army's Aviation Technical Test Center (ATTC). He was one of the most caring, kind and generous people I have ever known and he will be missed by all who knew him. Love and prayers to Jan and the family.
